Dudley Joseph Cronin, 58, of Mississippi, passed away on March 21, 2023 in Logan Canyon. Funeral arrangements are pending in Mississippi.
Funeral services for Dudley Joseph Cronin will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Red Star Ward) in Wesson, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery. President Lee Newell will be presiding with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the church from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM.
Mr. Cronin, 58, of Brookhaven, MS, was born on May 22, 1964. He died on March 21, 2023.
He was the son of Carl Jasper “Bug” Cronin, Jr and Gloria Rose Lagasse Cronin. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Hazlehurst Branch). He graduated from Loyd Star High School in 1982. He worked as a machine operator and foreman for many years until starting his own business in 2017. Family was the most important thing to him. Everything he did was for his family. He loved to help any in need and showed his love through service, which has touched countless people throughout his life. He had a huge love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting. His escape from life was to go hunting, whether for deer, ducks, elk or squirrels. He passed down that love and passion to his sons and grandsons. One of the favorite trips he planned every year was the dove hunt every September. He was amazing at operating large equipment and loved to clear trees, build rock walls, etc. He loved joking, playing pranks and laughing and had some of the best Dad jokes around. His love for adventure was contagious. He had the opportunity to visit many places with his wife Tiffany before passing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Cronin and sister Cynthia Jean Cronin.
Dudley is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tiffany Shelton Cronin; 5 children, Danielle Hite (Zach), Carl Cronin (Miranda), Brain Cronin (Crystal), Brandon Cronin (Karla Cronin- Arzate), Autumn Giddens (Tanner); 10 grandchildren, Ethan Hite, Sawyer Hite, Parker Cronin, Madilynn Cronin, Aiden Cronin, Brody Cronin, Dylan Cronin, Adriahna McDavid and Makayla Cronin.
