June 24, 1983 ~ July 20, 2023 (age 40)
David was born on June 24th, 1983, to his loving parents Gary and Marla Anderson in Phoenix Arizona. He went to the Deaf and Blind school in Ogden. He lived in Las Vegas and on Hill Air Force Base.
David worked as a dishwasher at the University of Utah in the catering department. He loved his Pepsi.
David loved to go on cruises and had been on 2 of them already with a third one booked for February 3. His favorite thing about cruises is the variety of foods they had.
He loved the outdoors, and his favorite thing was camping. His childhood camping spot was Tony’s Grove and going to Bear Lake to go swimming.
David loved being around his family and always had jokes to pull on everyone. He loved teaching sign language to everyone, but you better keep up.
He loved his identical twin brother Daniel and would always call him even just to ask, “So, what are you making for dinner?”
David’s favorite food place was Taco Bell, and it was bean burritos, but NO ONIONS!
He loved animals, especially baby ones. He had a bird named Pickle that he loved dearly.
David loved life and was happy even though he had disabilities but that never slowed him down in life.
He loved his grandma. He would always say, “Wake up, grandma,” ever since he was a little kid.
He will be missed dearly by all that knew him. He and his mom had a special bond and she loved him dearly. She was his first and other Support Coordinator.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amy Edwards. She was his Utah State Support Coordinator for 17 years and with his SSI, finding him new group homes to live in, helped him on daily basis with good things and the trying times for him.
David is survived by his mother: Marla Anderson, grandmother Vera, older brother Christopher Anderson and his twin brother Daniel Mark Anderson (Samantha), his sister Brittany Quinley (Caleb), and his nieces and nephews, Christian, Kenzie, Ashlee, Brayden and Dylan.
He was proceeded in death by his father Gary Eugene Anderson and his grandpa Melvin C. Chubb.
