David Lee Frodsham passed away at his home in Brigham City, UT, surrounded by family on Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born on February 10, 1939, to Verland Jay Frodsham and Blanche Frye in Brigham City, Utah. He attended schools in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School.
He honorably served his country in the United States National Guard.
David married the love of his life, Joyce Williams, on June 26, 1964, in Brigham City, Utah. They were married for 59 wonderful years.
He was a firefighter in Brigham City for 30 years and built a great relationship with his fellow fire fighters. He achieved Fire Fighter 1 in 1998. He was a hunting guide at Millionaire Duck Club, and built many of the homes in Brigham City operating his construction company Frodsham Construction.
David was an outstanding football player. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and camping. He was best friends and companions with his dog and companion Hooter.
He was strong minded, compassionate, hardworking—he’d do anything for you, whether he liked it or not and he was a devoted friend.
David had two children: Danette Smith Driscoll and Jay David Frodsham.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. John Markeson and staff, Bristol Hospice, and son-in-law Kelly Driscoll for the love, care, and extra help.
He is survived by his dear wife: Joyce Williams Frodsham; daughter: Danette Smith Driscoll (Kelly); 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one sister: Arlene Allen.
David was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and one son.
The family will honor him at a Celebration of Life at a later date.
