LOGAN — A construction worker was hospitalized after falling at a jobsite Thursday afternoon. The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at the new middle school, currently being built near Heritage Elementary School in Nibley.
Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Tim Ramirez said the worker fell from the roof, approximately 15 to 20 feet, landing on a concrete floor.
According to emergency radio traffic at the time, the man’s coworkers called 911. They reported the man was conscious and breathing but bleeding badly.
Ramirez said emergency crews responded immediately and provided critical care at the scene. The worker was transported to the hospital and later flown to a trauma center for further treatment.
The man’s identity is not being released by law enforcement, out of respect for the family’s privacy.
The incident remains under investigation.
