LOGAN – In another sad sign of summer coming to an end, city officials here say that local children have one more day to enjoy the Splash Pad in the Logan’s downtown plaza.
The Logan Parks & Recreation Department has announced that the final day for the Splash Pad at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza will be Saturday, Sept. 28.
Following that seasonal closure, however, cooler weather will be on the way and with it will come ice skating at the Laub Plaza.
City officials cannot predict when cold temperatures will arrive, of course. But they have promised to announce the opening of the portable ice skating rink in the Laub Plaza as soon as possible.
The Carol and Jim Laub Plaza is located at 55 North Main Street in downtown Logan.
