LOGAN – On Friday, April 24, at 12:30 p.m. the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will donate a truck full of food to the Cache Community Food Pantry located at 359 South Main Street in Logan.

A JustServe-branded semi-truck will deliver thousands of pounds of church-donated food for families in need in Cache Valley.

As the United States approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the church plans on delivering 250 truckloads of food to communities in all 50 states.

America250’s ‘America Gives’ initiative and the church’s ‘JustServe’ platform, volunteers, local leaders, and community organizations will come together to put service into action.

JustServe is a service platform sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that connects volunteers with local community service opportunities. Its purpose is to help individuals and organizations strengthen their communities by working together for a common goal.

The church uses its established infrastructure, volunteer network and humanitarian food resources with an eye on building community awareness to help bring America250 into neighborhoods like those in Logan, turning a national commemoration into local service.

The 250 deliveries will provide millions of meals to families across the United States as part of the America Gives initiative.

The church invites all Americans to join in making 2026 a record-setting year for volunteer service.

Join the initiative and find volunteer opportunities at JustServe.org.
