May 7, 1942 – June 2, 2023 (age 81)

Carol Nuttall Skidmore of Logan, Utah, passed away from natural causes on June 2nd, 2023. Carol was born on May 7th, 1942, to Ruth Jenkins Nuttall and Oral Nuttall in Logan, Utah. Carol was the 3rd of their four children. Robert, Mary, Carol, and Donna.

In 1963 Carol met the love of her life, Lee Skidmore. They met through a carpool ride coming home from the April General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their first date was April 12th. They started going steady on April 14th and were engaged on April 27th. They were married and sealed in the Logan, Utah, LDS temple on September 27th, 1963. The couple were married 58 and ½ years at the time of Lee’s death on April 22nd, 2022. Carol and Lee had three children. Vaunda Lue, Tracy Leland, and Ruth Ellen.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Oral and Ruth, along with her older brother Robert Nutall, Sister Mary Parker, husband Leland Skidmore, and son Tracy Skidmore.

She is survived by her daughters Vaunda Skidmore and Ruth Pearl (Tim Pearl), along with five grandchildren, Mackenzie Skidmore, Kaitlyn Pearl Young (Jason Young), Jaxon Pearl (Sunny), Cayson Pearl (Addison), and Jazmin Pearl. She also has 6 Great Grandchildren Charles and Clementine Young (Kaity and Jason), Annevieve, Daisy, and Galilee (Sunny and Jaxon) and Indy (Cayson and Addison).

Carol’s family would like to thank Myranda, Dezirae, Kim, her hospice nurse Kellianne and all the wonderful staff at Our House Assisted Living and Atlas Hospice Care in Tremonton for caring for and loving Carol over this past year.

All services will be held at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan.

The viewing will occur on Thursday, June 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9th, starting at noon.

Before the funeral service, a viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
