LOGAN — A vehicle crashed into the Arctic Circle restaurant in south Logan on Thursday evening, but officials say no one was injured in the incident.

The Logan City Fire Department responded to the collision at approximately 6:25 p.m.

According to a statement from the fire department, neither the occupants of the vehicle nor anyone inside the business sustained injuries when the car struck the building.

Logan City Police Lt. Derek Dickey said the vehicle was being driven by an elderly customer. As she was pulling into a parking stall, she accidently pushed on the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the car to accelerate into the building.
