BOX ELDER COUNTY — A woman’s body was pulled from the Box Elder Creek in Brigham City after a search ensued when she was reported missing Tuesday morning.
Brigham City Police Detective Crystal Beck said officers responded to a residence just after 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 27 after a 911 call reported a possible missing person.
Police arrived at the home and confirmed a woman was missing. Details about the woman were not provided.
Beck said officers searched the area and eventually found her unresponsive in the river.
First responders transported the woman to a local hospital in “unknown condition,” but Beck stated in a press release that she had died.
The incident remains under investigation.
Other details about the woman’s death were not immediately released, pending notification of family.
