BRIGHAM CITY – The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah will hold its 3rd annual Casino/Bingo Night on Friday, Feb. 7.

The event, which is held annually during the weekend of the Super Bowl, is a fundraiser for Boys & Girls Club programing at the non-profit group’s centers in Brigham City, Logan and Garland, according to organizer Brittany Macbeth.

The evening of laid-back enjoyment will start at 6 p.m. in the Academy Center in downtown Brigham City, she explains.

“We’ll have food, drinks, make-believe gambling, fun and bingo to support our programming efforts,” Macbeth adds.

Tickets for the benefit are $35 per person, which will include dinner plus 200 chips or four bingo cards.

Gamblers can try their luck at winning chips that can be redeemed for raffle tickets for donated prizes.

“Those prizes are from Lagoon, the Hale Center Theatre and others,” Macbeth says. “We’ve even got a remote control monster car that goes up to 60 miles per hour; I know people are going to love that.

Sponsors for the event include Nucor, Choules Financial, the Walmart Distribution Center, Cache Valley Electric, Intermountain Consulting and Mace Technology.

The Academy Center is located at 58 North Main Street in Brigham City.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah is a non-profit organization that offers programs and activities for students in Box Elder and Cache counties.

The club’s mission is to help young people reach their full potential by providing after-school programs and summer camps; other programs in areas like education, arts, health, sports and leadership; opportunities to form positive relationships with adult mentors; and collaboration with schools, cities and other organizations.
