GARDEN CITY – Bear Lake Watch is inviting the public to their annual Science Symposium to learn about research findings and outcomes resulting from research grants awarded in 2023.

This event is scheduled to be held Friday, Sept. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sunrise Event Center located at 865 N. Harbor Village Dr. in Garden City.

Research findings and outcomes resulting from Bear Lake Research Grants awarded in 2023 to teams of Utah State University’s researchers and graduate students will be presented. The students are from USU’s Janet Quinney Lawson Institute for Land, Water & Air. Bear Lake Watch asked to study various aspects of Bear Lake and the surrounding area.

Bear Lake Watch is expecting this event to be a unique opportunity to learn about the findings from their research.

The topics to be discussed are:
