LOGAN — Cache County sheriff’s deputies and Logan police are searching for an armed 41-year-old Logan man wanted on domestic violence charges who evaded a massive tactical manhunt Monday morning near Benson Marina.

Authorities identified the suspect as Benigno Queredo-Centreros. The incident began between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute within Logan city limits. Queredo-Centreros fled the residence before police arrived.

Later in the morning, sheriff’s deputies and a Utah Highway Patrol trooper spotted the suspect traveling at a high rate of speed near 4200 West in Cache County. Despite the extensive search of the surrounding area, the suspect was not located.

Queredo-Centreros is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a mustache and a distinct mohawk hairstyle, and he was last seen wearing no shirt.
