July 4, 1941 – May 29, 2023 (age 81)

Artie Annette Fronk Harris, our dear, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend died Monday, May 29, 2023 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.

Annette was born July 4, 1941 in Tremonton Utah to Edna Ruth Krey and John Henry Fronk.

Annette grew up in Tremonton Utah. She graduated from Bear River High School in 1959 and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Physical Education. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and was a lifelong USU Aggie

She married Darwin Harris in 1962 in the Logan LDS Temple. She taught school at Bear River High school for two years and was also the first woman on the Beaver Mountain Ski Patrol. Dar and Annette moved to Omaha, Nebraska where Dar attended dental school. Then in 1971 they moved to Auburn, California where Dar began his practice of dentistry.

In 1980 they moved their family back to Utah and lived in Brigham City for 8 years.

Annette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints where she served in many callings including Young Women’s President. She also served on the Box Elder School board for many years.

They later moved to Logan, Utah. There she found her lifetime joy of playing golf. She and Dar were members of the Logan Golf and Country Club and Annette served as President of the Ladies Association and spent as much time as she could playing her beloved game of golf and had 5 holes in ones. She was the ladies Senior club champion in 2010, 2011, and 2014.

Annette has a very engaging personality. She made friends where ever she went. She had an infectious laugh and was loved by everyone.

Her legacy of love and devotion will live on through her wonderful family. She was so devoted and proud of them. They will never forget the unconditional love they felt from her.

She is preceded in death by a granddaughter Amelia Harris, her parents, and brothers Wayne, Parker and Jack Fronk, and her sister Maria Snyder.

Annette is survived by her husband Darwin Harris; Sons Michael (Teresa), Matthew (Elizabeth), Mark (Sarah), Mitch (Gabrielle); daughter Mea; 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild due in September; and sisters-in-law LaWana Smith Fronk, Roberta Fronk, and Donna Fronk.

A special thanks to Annette’s daughter, Mea. She has been by her mother’s side during the many months of Annette’s illness. Her loving care and devotion to her mom is a great example to everyone.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 12:00 p.m. at the North Logan 16th Ward Building (1550 E 1900 N) in North Logan, Utah.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.

Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
