RICH COUNTY — A woman has died days after being critically injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Rich County last week that also hurt seven others.
Ashley Siffring, 39, of Flagstaff, Arizona, died Thursday at a Utah hospital, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred south of Woodruff. A Ford transit van was northbound on SR-16 when it crossed over the center median in the area of Reed Lane and hit a motorhome head-on.
The Rich County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident involved several vehicles and required extrication efforts by first responders.
Ambulances and medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene along with paramedics, firefighters, and police. Details about what caused the crash are still being investigated.
