LOGAN – Tickets are already on sale for a new addition to the Cache Valley Center for the Arts’ continuing series of national traveling shows – the ABBA tribute band ARRIVAL from Sweden.

That show is scheduled to play Logan at the Ellen Eccles Theatre for one-night only on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, according the Gavin Syme, the CacheARTS marketing director.

Syme announced the news of the new addition to the CacheARTS touring line-up on Dec. 14, during a live broadcast on KVNU’s “For the People” show.

ABBA was one of the most successful glam-rock recording groups of the 1970s. The supergroup was made up of two married couples – Agnetha Fäiltskog and Björn Ulvaeus, plus Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

Between 1974 and 1982, they topped pop music charts worldwide to become one of the most popular musical artists of all time.

Here in Logan, ARRIVAL from Sweden will perform its production of “The Music of ABBA,” a show that has thrilled audiences in sold-out venues for nearly 20 years.

“It’s the absolute best and most authentic ABBA show there is,” Syne said during the KVNU broadcast. “They delivers all of ABBA’s hits with such accuracy that it’s hard to believe that ARRIVAL from Sweden is not the real ABBA on stage.

Those hits will include “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Take A Chance,” “SOS,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Money Money Money,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” “Lay All Your Love on Me” and many others.

In fact, he explained, ARRIVAL from Sweden is the only ABBA tribute band to receive permission from Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson to perform a previously unreleased ABBA composition entitled “Just a Notion.”

Since its inception in 1995, ARRIVAL from Sweden has toured more than 70 countries, including 86 successful tours of the United States in the past decade.

In addition to all those great ABBA hits, ARRIVAL from Sweden will also offer a breathtaking stage show featuring lavish costuming and talented musicians accompanying its vocalists.
