LOGAN — Five students from Utah and Idaho are among 146 recipients nationwide selected for the 2026 Tractor Supply FFA Future Leaders Scholarship, a program designed to help young people pursue careers in agriculture and the skilled trades while strengthening rural communities.
The scholarships, funded by Tractor Supply Company and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation in partnership with the National FFA Organization, provide $10,000 awards to students enrolled in four-year agriculture-related degree programs and $5,000 awards to students attending two-year colleges or trade schools. Since the program launched in 2022, more than 500 FFA members have received more than $4 million in scholarship assistance.
Three Utah students and one Idaho student received $5,000 scholarships this year:
- Keaton Eliason of Delta, Utah, will attend Snow College’s Richfield campus.
- Kaitlin Sorensen of St. George, Utah, will attend The Skin Institute, where she plans to study business.
- Bradley Koot of Stansbury Park, Utah, will attend Tooele Technical College to study diesel mechanics.
- Alex Hofhine of Mackay, Idaho, will attend Prime Line Academy to study electrical engineering.
In addition, Mya Stine of Falling Waters, West Virginia, received a $5,000 scholarship to attend the Idaho Horseshoeing School, where she plans to study animal science and pursue a career as a farrier.
Nationally, recipients are pursuing careers ranging from agribusiness and agricultural engineering to veterinary medicine, welding, construction and diesel mechanics. Tractor Supply officials said the scholarship program is intended to help prepare the next generation of professionals needed to sustain rural communities.
The scholarship program is funded in part through donations from Tractor Supply customers during annual checkout fundraising campaigns. This year’s campaign will run Sept. 7-20 in stores and online.
