NORTH LOGAN – With the warm weather, people are getting the fever to get out and start planning what to do with their yards. This year’s Cache Valley Home and Garden Show will have over 100 vendors for this event that should bring people from inside and outside of the valley to find out what’s in and what’s not.
The Cache Valley Media Group does everything they can to bring in the top vendors to showcase their wares at this annual event on Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21, at the George S. Eccles Ice Center located at 2825 North 200 East in North Logan.
Greg Roper, the organizer of the event, said they have more than 100 vendors, more than they’ve had in quite some time.
“We have home builders, landscapers, handymen, garage door services, siding businesses and just about anything else someone would like to talk to at this year’s show,” he said. “We didn’t have winter this year so we are expecting people to be in the mood to find out what the trends are and what expertise people can tap into this year.”
Anderson’s Seed and Garden is sponsoring this year’s event.
“Every booth space is filled,” Roper said. “We are expecting this year’s event to be bigger than ever.”
Doors open on Friday at 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., and Saturday it will open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
“This is the best place to see the newest products in home and yard décor for Northern Utah,” Roper said. “We have packed as many vendors as we could fit in the Ice Center, but there is still plenty of space to walk through and talk to the venders.”
Businesses will have their products and services ready to demonstrate to the thousands of people who walk through Cache Valley’s biggest spring event.
“This has always been the biggest home and garden show in the valley,” Roper said. “We filled the 25,000-foot arena with as many different businesses as we could find.”
The show grows in popularity every year, attracting many new vendors and attendees. There are food trucks and there is plenty of free parking.
United Way of Cache Valley will provide activities for children in their all-indoor venue. They will have someone doing face painting and other activities to keep the little ones busy. The indoor venue will keep people out of any inclement weather that may be in the forecast.
There are bath and shower remodeling specialists, lighting, wind and solar power specialists, too.
This show can get people in touch with businesses and services in and out of the valley that can help them the most.
Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, Los Primos, and Firehouse Pizzeria will be serving food during the show as well Sweet Swede Candy, LLC to please the appetites for attendees.
The price of admission is only $2 for ages 13 and up with those 12 years and under admitted for free.
