There are four owners, and they took over the business in July and have been repairing and upgrading things at the business located at 15 E. 500 N. in Brigham City. The original bowling alley was built in 1959.
Their hours are weekdays from 12 noon to 9 p.m. and weekends from 12 noon to 11 p.m.
Owners Leo Galvan, his daughter Stephany, Janet Keller and Michael Onley have some lofty goals for the business. They all have different responsibilities. They took over the business on July 1.
“We want to make this the best bowling alley in the State of Utah,” Keller, who is the manager, said. “When we took over the business there was only one lane that was working, and it broke the first day.”
Vinci’s has an 18-lane bowling alley, a billiard room, dart throwing, cornhole area and a black lighted mini-golf course that is all decked out for Halloween. The mini-golf room will be decorated with ghosts and goblins until Nov. 4.
Onley is a certified bowling instructor and coaches the Box Elder High School students as well as other patrons who want to improve their game. He has worked at the place before under different owners.
The snack bar is bringing in outsiders to partake of the lunch specials.
“We have Maddox hamburgers,” she said. “We also have chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, pizza and other things people like for lunch.”
“There are not a lot of places for people to go and have fun in Brigham City,” Galvan said. “We want people to come here and have a place to go, especially in the winter.”

They are going to have a Top 9 Tournament on the first Saturday of the month. The new management team is thinking of all kinds ways to get people to return to the bowling alley to have fun.
The United States Bowling Congress estimates there are more than 67 million people in the United States who bowl during a year.
And more than 1.2 million people compete regularly in a bowling league.
