CACHE COUNTY – The Cache County Clerk’s Office is reminding all county residents that Tuesday, Sept. 5 is Primary Election day.

Completed ballots can also be returned at the drop box located in the parking lot at the Cache County Clerks Office at 179 North Main Street in Logan.
The county clerk’s will be closed, however, on Tuesday, Sept. 5 except for activities related to the primary election.
Ballots can also be returned in person at the Logan City Hall building at 290 North, 100 West during regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Ballots returned by the U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Polling places throughout Cache County will close at 8 p.m.
Municipal primary elections throughout Utah were originally slated to take place on Aug. 15, with the general election following a little over two months later on Nov. 7.
To accommodate a special election in Utah’s 2nd Congressional District to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Chris Stewart, however, lawmakers voted during a special session of the Legislature to adjust those dates.
Following this week’s primary election, the statewide general election is now set for Tuesday, Nov. 21.
