LOGAN — A vehicle fire temporarily shut down traffic in both directions on State Route 30 west of Logan on Saturday afternoon, according to the Logan City Fire Department.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the blaze along Valley View Highway near milepost 104 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Engines 70 and 72, along with Battalion 70, responded to the scene to safely extinguish the flames.
Authorities temporarily closed both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway, causing brief delays while firefighters worked to contain the fire and clear the roadway of any hazards.
Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and no other vehicles were involved. The specific cause of the vehicle fire is still being investigated.
