LOGAN — On her monthly appearance on KVNU’s For the People program recently, Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce president Jamie Andrus talked more about an important series for women in 2025.

“We are incredibly lucky last year and this year to have our president of our Women in Business organization that’s under the chamber. She also is the director of the Women’s Business Center of Utah. She has an incredible network and she said, ‘I want to make 2025 an incredible opportunity for the women in Cache Valley,'” Andrus explained.

So, what’s been put together is being called the ‘Thrive’ series for the Women in Business meetings at the Logan Golf & Country Club.

“It’s going to be expanding and accelerating women’s potential, empowering success through confidence, growth, leadership and connections.

“And she has invited some of the very, very top leaders in the state of Utah, who do not live in Cache Valley, all of them live along the Wasatch Front, to come to Logan on their own dime – and speak every month to our Women in Business for the entire year.”

Andrus mentioned some of the high profile women invited, such as Sharlene Wells from Mountain America Credit Union, Nubia Pena from the Utah Division of Multi-Cultural Affairs and Liz Owens from YWCA Utah.

“These women are coming and the series is going to be building upon each other. So, January, you’re going to learn a skill and then the next skill, and then the next skill. So this is a terrific opportunity for you and your business to sign-up.”

The price for the year-long series is a “steal,” according to Andrus, at $375, and $400 for non-chamber members.

The price includes 11 workshops, each with networking, lunch and presentation and a full-day of the Cache Business Women’s Conference.
