20th Century Fox(LOS ANGELES) — One might not expect a superhero team-up to include Deadpool, Celine Dion and Kanye West, but that’s just what happened — at least on Twitter.

While tweeting his love for the Deadpool movies, the controversial rapper asserted that some of the music used in the films was reminiscent of his own work.

“I love both Deadpool movies… I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine,” Kanye tweeted. “bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool.”

He added, “your guys writing and approach is so innovative … I love how you guys break the 4th wall… thank you for being innovative and please know I’m down to clear next time.”

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds responded to Kanye’s tweet about the music sounding similar to his, writing, “Agree. I’m having a word with Celine Dion.”

Celine, of course, recorded the song “Ashes” for the Deadpool 2 soundtrack, and Ryan appeared in the video with her.

Then Celine got into the act, tweeting, “Hmm, ‘Ashes (Yeezy Remix)’ does have a nice ring to it…”

Your move, Kanye. Remember: Maximum effort.
