© 2017 WARNER BROS. ENTERTAINMENT INC. AND RATPAC ENTERTAINMENT, LLC(LOS ANGELES) — While it’s been rumored that Patty Jenkins’ anticipated Wonder Woman sequel would jump forward in time from the World War I-set original to the ’80s — 1984, specifically — she posted a picture Wednesday that still managed to surprise fans. Why? It shows Chris Pine, rocking a totally ’80s outfit.

Fans know that his character, Steve Trevor — spoiler alert — made the ultimate sacrifice at the end of the original movie, but there he is, in a mall, rocking that ’80 wardrobe staple, the Members Only jacket.

While her goddess-like genes mean that Wonder Woman won’t age, the same doesn’t apply to Trevor, who is mortal and, as far as we know, dead. So what gives? Guess we’ll have to wait until November 1, 2019, when Wonder Woman 2 opens in theaters.

Jenkins also posted another pic of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman watching a bank of TVs set tuned to ’80s fare including Dallas, and Christie Brinkley in the original Vacation.
