The White House has released a memo detailing the results of President Donald Trump’s recent physical exam, with the president’s physician writing that Trump is in “excellent health.”

In the memo released by the White House, U.S. Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, physician to the president, wrote: “President Donald Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Tuesday.

Last summer, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after appearing with swollen ankles and legs.

The physician’s report noted “slight lower leg swelling with improvement from last year,” according to the memo.

The physician noted that the president experiences bruising on his hands, which the White House has attributed to shaking hands while taking aspirin for his condition.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
