LOGAN – America’s Cup of Civil Engineering is coming to Utah State University for three days in April as the Aggies host the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) regional symposium for the first time in 11 years.

Future engineers from from several universities across the intermountain west will compete in events including concrete canoe races, timber strong design-build and steel bridge building.

This conference, April 11-13, provides students practical experience and offers them a chance to qualify for national championships in concrete canoe and steel bridge.

The event is free and open to the public and the symposium website includes a complete list of events.

The 2024 ASCE National Civil Engineering Student Championships will be June 20-22 at BYU.
