LOGAN – Following a ground breaking ceremony last August, work is underway on a new Utah State University academic and community center in Monument Valley, Utah.
Located just northwest of Monument Valley High School, it will serve students and community members of the Navajo Nation.
Plans for the center call for a 10,000-square-foot building to include classrooms, computer labs, a nursing and CNA lab, Career & Technical Education lab, small business development space, a welding lab, and space for community gatherings and public events.
USU’s 30 locations across Utah provide access to a variety of high-caliber programs with personalized support and flexibility. The new facility is located in the Blanding region.
Wells Fargo and MoFi CDE each provided $7 million in New Markets Tax Credits to USU for the new center.
It is anticipated it will be completed by early 2026.
