LOGAN – National Hispanic American Heritage Month, which continues until October 15, is designed to honor Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced our nation and society.

As part of the month-long celebration, Utah State University invites everyone in the community to participate in the 1st Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival taking place this Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Quad.

It is a free event from 4-9 p.m. on campus.

The purpose is to promote and celebrate the Latinx Culture in Cache Valley. It is also an opportunity to bring the Latino community together to celebrate cultural awareness and community.

Saturday’s event includes food trucks, performances, games and activities for children and a dance class.
