LOGAN – A tradition since 1930, once again the USU Alumni Association will welcome alumni, students, and community members to celebrate Homecoming Week events beginning Monday, Oct. 2.

Events continue all the way to Saturday, Oct. 7, the day of the homecoming parade and the football game against Colorado State. CSU has been the Aggie homecoming opponent 16 times and the Aggies are 9-6-1 in those games, including winning the last three homecoming games against the Rams.

USU will honor four notable Aggies for their contributions to the university.

Other honorees include Edward Porras, Alumnus of the Year, and Amberley Lana Snyder, Young Alumna of the year.

There are about two dozen official events during homecoming week and notable among them are A Day of Giving on Thursday, Oct. 5 to help raise money for student scholarships.
