LOGAN – The Logan Downtown Alliance is excited to host the 54th Annual Great American Sidewalk Sale, a three-day shopping extravaganza.

This sales event transforms Main Street, Center Street, Federal Avenue, 100 North and 200 North, into our grandest downtown attraction of the year.

Downtown merchants are getting ready for the sidewalk sale that will begin on Thursday.

From this Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 11, shoppers and diners can enjoy all that Downtown Logan has to offer from 10 a.m. to late each day. Visitors can also relax and enjoy meals from local restaurants at the canopy-covered dining tables on Center Street and at the Plaza.

“Come check out Logan’s Main Street America Accredited Community,” said Gary Saxton Executive Director of the Logan Downtown Alliance. “Our Main Street has been selected as the best Main Street in Utah and was nominated for the Great American Main Street Award.”

Once each year downtown merchants come together to create an exciting, community-wide sales shopping opportunity that generally attracts hundreds of shoppers.

“Shoppers are eager to discover the best deals of the season,” he said. “We expect to see between 300 and 500 shoppers each day as customers explore incredible clothing, electronics, toys, furniture, gifts, sporting goods, fabric, jewelry, salon products and services, and much more.”

The weekend will include the Downtown Art Walk that begins on Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., hosted by Bodrero Framing & Design. And the popular Downtown Gardeners’ Market will be held on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“This annual tradition is a wonderful opportunity for Cache Valley to see what our downtown businesses has to offer while connecting with the community,” Saxton said. “We want residents and visitors to be a part of one of downtown’s most anticipated events. We encouraged the merchants to bring out their best specials.”

Shoppers can expect to see creative and inviting storefronts, and great deals at this year’s Sidewalk Sale. It is expected to be bigger and better than ever.

And while customers shop, they could take a break, escape the heat and check out the Logan Tabernacle Noon interfaith summer concerts held in the historic Logan Tabernacle located at 50 N. Main St.
