Terri Leigh O’Brien passed away suddenly on July 12, 2022, at the age of 62. Terri was an incredibly loving and vibrant spirit that radiated love and kindness with everyone she met. Terri was the youngest of eight children and was born in Ogden, Utah.

Terri was born to Harold and Barbara Lippold and was the baby to her seven siblings that were all born in a 10-year period. This timespan created a close bond between Terri and her early family that lasted throughout her life.

Terri met her first husband in high school, and she became pregnant with her oldest child, Mandy, who was born in 1978. Terri’s other children, Adam (born in 1980), and Derek (born in 1982). Becoming a mother gave Terri great purpose in life, and Terri gave all the love she could to her children everyday of her life.

Some of Terri’s passions in life were her family, her dogs, writing poetry, cooking, cake decorating, caring for her flower gardens, and loving everyone that crossed her path. Terri loved watching daytime soap operas, Oprah, Dr. Phil, Mash, Little House on the Prairie, and many movies old and new.

Terri had many jobs throughout her life ranging from a cake decorator to a machine operator, to a nanny, but being a mom and wife was what she loved most. Terri put all her love towards her loved ones and reminded them often.

Terri met the love of her life, Kenny Oglesbee, October 25, 2015. Terri and Kenny became a couple, June 1, 2018, and were inseparable up until the day of her passing. Although they were unable to follow through with their engagement and get married, they considered themselves married and soulmates.

Terri is survived by her mother, Barbara Lippold; brothers, Mark Lippold, Rex Lippold, and Matt Lippold; sisters, Betty Archibald, Toni Godwin, and Carol Citte; daughter, Mandy Draper; grandchildren, Alyssa Slater, Connor Slater, Quincy Draper, and Xander Draper; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Terri was preceded in death by her father, Harold Lippold; older brother Burt Lippold; sons Adam Henrie, and Derek Henrie; and her grandparents and other family members.

An Open House to Celebrate the Life of Terri will be held later where family and friends will be notified of place, date, and time.
