Shirlene V. Wilde Moosman, 84, passed away Monday June 13, 2022 in Pocatello, Idaho. Shirlene was born November 10, 1937 in Wanship, Utah the daughter of Rhea Vernon and Parley S Wilde.
Shirlene married Otho Christian Moosman on December 22, 1954 in the Logan, LDS Temple. Shirlene was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Shirlene enjoyed her church callings and assisted with making quilts for the church humanitarian projects, visiting teaching, and served in the Primary Presidency as well. Shirlene also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, painting, calligraphy, and crocheting.
Shirlene enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always looked forward to having a yearly yard cleanup get together at her home with the whole family.
Shirlene is survived by her two sons and two daughters, Dennis (Mareen) Moosman, of Preston, ID; Kathy (Kenneth) Turley, of Maricopa, AZ; Clint (Debbie) Moosman, of Seneca Falls, NY; and Tammy (Darrell) Drury, of Cub River, ID. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and a brother Sheldon Wilde.
Shirlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Laura Moosman, two brothers, and three grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winder Ward Chapel, 1600 West 4400 North in Preston. Friends are welcome Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery.
