NORTH LOGAN – The Rocky Mountain Veterans Center (RMVC) is trying to rally the troops for a sit down lunch and opportunity to hear how Bear River Association of Governments can make their life better.
The Veterans Luncheon will be held on July 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at RMVC located at 1760 N 200 E UNIT 100, North Logan.
Shanna Andersen and Lucas Martin will be guest speakers.
Andersen is a Cache County Veterans Service Officer (VSO) and BRAG Social Worker was asked to discuss what home services, community services, VA Healthcare, and the benefits of working with a VSO.
Martin is the BRAG Director of Human Services and has been asked to discuss programs they have to assist with housing, home repair, homelessness.
The speakers will provide important updates on the various benefits and opportunities available through federal, state, and community organizations.
There may be many Veterans, their families, and caregivers that may not be fully aware of the benefits being discussed at the luncheon. The RMVC and BRAG hope the information presented at this and future gatherings will help bridge this gap by providing essential information that can assist Veterans, their families, and caregivers when applying for and receiving benefits.
There is no charge to attend the luncheon but registration in advance is advised to help make sure every person attending can get the help they want and need.
