GARDEN CITY – The folks at “Pickleville on Tour” are looking for another home for their upcoming Christmas holiday production.

TJ Davis released an online survey targeted to “Pickleville on Tour” fans in southern Utah and Idaho on Thursday, Sept. 7.
That survey asked whether theater-goers in those areas would be receptive to performances of “I Believe in Christmas: A North Pole Musical” during the upcoming holiday season.
“For 17 years, Pickleville Christmas has been a must-see holiday tradition for families in and around both Salt Lake City and Logan,” Davis explains. “This year, we’re planning to add a third location to our annual Christmas tour.”
There are already confirmed dates for a reprise of the “Pickleville on Tour” holiday show that debuted in 2021. Those performances will be at the Grand Theater in Salt Lake City on Dec. 8 and 9, followed by a scheduled run on Dec. 21, 22 and 23 here in Logan.
Presumably Davis is looking for an opportunity to take his “Pickleville on Tour” troupe either north or south during the eleven-day interim between those scheduled performance dates.
The online survey – which only takes about 60 second to complete – specifically asks whether respondents are interested in seeing the Pickleville holiday show performed in St. George, Utah; in the Idaho communities of Boise, Idaho Falls or Pocatello; or, in other locations.
If so, the survey also asks respondents to suggest a convenient local venue for those performances.

“Pickleville on Tour” is the stepchild of the Pickleville Playhouse on the shores of Bear Lake in Garden City. Its traveling shows began with Christmas productions in Salt Lake City and Logan in the early 2000s.
In recent years, “Pickleville on Tour” has alternated its original musical Juandito’s Christmas Carol with performances of another of Davis’ scripts for Once Upon a North Pole Christmas.
This year, Davis has promised that I Believe in Christmas: A North Pole Musical will be a re-imagining of the widely acclaimed holiday show that “Pickleville on Tour” debuted in 2021.
The show will feature a cast full of Pickleville favorites, a chorus of beautiful dancers, a sleigh-full of laughs and plenty of holiday musical numbers to put audiences in a festive mood.
