(NEW YORK) — Well, this is quite the visual. On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Wednesday night, Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage said he helped Jamie Dornan practice his lines for Fifty Shades Freed.
Dinklage said he helped Dornan rehearse for the erotic drama in their dressing room while the two were shooting the new film My Dinner with Hervé, in which they both star.
“I read some of the screenplay, though, in our dressing room,” Dinklage said. “I went in, he had to do some reshoots for Fifty Shades and I would help him out learning lines.”
He added, “I would read the Dakota Johnson parts. I was just helping a friend learn lines. I nailed it. I really did.”
While Colbert tried to compare the intense fan bases of both Game of Thrones and Fifty Shades, Dinklage said they are “very different.”
“I think Game of Thrones fans would take issue with comparing the two because Game of Thrones fans are very specific and lovely,” he said. “Fifty Shades fans have issues. It’s all suppressed issues, I think.”
