Nomination day is here for the 2026 Oscars.
The nominees in all 24 categories for the 98th Academy Awards are being revealed Thursday morning in a live presentation from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.
Oscar-nominated actor Danielle Brooks and actor Lewis Pullman are announcing all the nominations, which includes this year’s newest category: casting.

Each category will have five nominees, except for best picture, which has 10.
For this year’s Academy Awards, 317 feature films were eligible, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences revealed in a press release earlier this month. For the best picture category, 201 feature films were eligible for consideration.
Voting for this year’s nominations began Jan. 12 and concluded on Jan. 16, according to a press release.
This year’s Oscars ceremony will be hosted by Conan O’Brien for the second year in a row.

The 2026 Oscars will air on Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.
