Ora Prescott Rathbone passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on March 12, 2022. She was born in Francis, Utah on January 3, 1927, to Thomas Acle Prescott and Retta Vivian Leavitt. She had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She was married to Joe R. Rathbone on April 5, 1945, and later sealed on April 7, 1952, in the Salt Lake City Temple. They raised 5 children: Dahrl, Ronald, Michael, Carolyn, and Jimmy.

Ora lived a life of service. She held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved feeding the missionaries. Ora and Joe ran the church cannery in Washington for several years. They served as Stake Missionaries in the Richland Washington Stake and served in the Seattle Washington Temple. She fulfilled her ministering to the very end.

Ora is survived by Son, Ronald (Sheila) Rathbone, Daughter Dahrl Langner, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Testing her patience, Ora was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters, two sons and one daughter, as well as many, many friends. Her patience turned to impatience and finally it was her turn to join them all. She will be sorely missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 2335 North 400 West, Corinne, Utah.

Viewings will be held the night before on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah, and prior to the service at the church house on Thursday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.

Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery in Kamas, Utah, at approximately 1:00 p.m.
