LOGAN  – City officials here are advising motorists that improvements to the intersection at 1250 North and 200 East will begin on Monday, Mar. 16.

The purpose of the reconstruction effort will be to align 1250 North with Cache Valley Blvd. and install a new traffic signal at that intersection to improve traffic flow and safety.

Logan officials advise that the west leg of the intersection will be closed while the project is in progress, while the east leg will remain open most of the time, with limited full closures occurring primarily during overnight hours.

They add that 200 East will remain open to north-south traffic during the indefinite construction period, although occasional full closures may be necessary. Temporary stop signs will be added to 200 East during the construction period.

Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained, according to city officials.

For more information and to sign up for updates regarding the schedule and road closures, affected residents and business owners are advised to visit the Logan City Capital Projects page at go.loganutah.gov/CapitalProjects
