LOGAN — City officials here are advising residents that the Logan Wastewater Division will be performing night maintenance on the sewer system during the month of June.
Wastewater crews will clean city sewer lines running under state roads and other high traffic areas within Logan for much of the rest of the month.
City officials say that the wastewater crews typically clean on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, from 1 a.m. to 11 a.m., to minimize the impact of traffic on the maintenance effort and vice-versa.
The sewer lines that are slated for cleaning are under Main St.; 1400 North from 800 East to 200 West; 600 West from 300 South to 200 North; 100 East from 400 South to 100 South; 600 West from 1600 North to 1800 North; and Southeast Street from 300 South to Three Point Avenue.
Motorists traveling on those aforementioned roads are advised to slow down and exercise caution to ensure their own safety and that of members of the city’s crews.
