LOGAN — A 30-year-old Millville man was killed Friday afternoon in a single vehicle crash near Riverdale. The accident occurred at 3:10 p.m. on northbound I-15.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers report Brady Fuhriman was driving a Hyundai passenger car north, near the Riverdale Road overpass. It is believed, debris from the southbound side of the freeway went over the median and struck the Hyundai.

The debris went through the windshield and struck Fuhriman. He suffered fatal injuries as a result.

Fuhriman grew up in Cache Valley. Family and friends posted on social media that he was an amazing friend and father. Others described his passion for the outdoors and being a man who would give the shirt off his back to help others.

There were no other injuries reported in the incident or vehicles involved. Officials believed the debris that hit Fuhriman’s car was a brake assembly.

Troopers are asking anyone who saw the debris on southbound lanes or the crash in northbound lanes, or who has any other information about where the debris came from to call the Utah Highway Patrol in Ogden at 801-393-1136.

Funeral services for Fuhriman are still be arranged.
