March 14, 1963April 15, 2022 (age 59)

Mary Jo Wilson, 59, of McCammon passed away on Friday, April 15 while surrounded by multiple generations of family after a long battle with ongoing health conditions.

She was born in March of 1963 to Mary Jo Ann and Dewain Higgins and would be second youngest of the family’s nine children. After high school, she went on to explore adventures in the service industry spending time working at resorts and in local restaurants which is where she would meet the love of her life, Charlie. They were married in December of 1988 and would have two children, Dallas and Dakota.

In 2005, tragedy struck as cancer separated Charlie from the family long before his time. Mary worked to make sure her boys knew they were loved and supported through the loss and would rely strongly on her faith and community in the LDS.

Mary was known for giving unconditionally of herself whether it be to her children, her family, her church or her community. She continued to show her concern and willingness to give through her final day here on Earth.

Mary is survived by her youngest son and daughter-in-law, Dakota and Jane Wilson of Pocatello; siblings, Cheryl, Larry, Suzy, Bonnie, Jerry and John; and a number of nieces, nephews who will all miss her dearly.

Services for Mary, and her son Dallas who passed one day later, will be held at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, April 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints McCammon Stake Center, 403 W 16th Street in McCammon, Idaho.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at Horsley Funeral Homes.
