Marjorie Helen Jensen passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 95 and was lovingly visited by family and friends during her last days. She lived to enjoy being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her life’s journey began on August 6, 1928, in Santa Monica, California. Her parents were Ernest Holmes Taylor and Pearl Elizabeth Gill. She married her sweetheart Jack on April 7, 1948, in the Manti Temple and spent more than 75 years in a loving, devoted marriage, raising three wonderful sons: Jim, Bill and Paul. During her life, she was always serving others and faithfully fulfilling responsibilities in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She remained upbeat and cheerful during several bouts of cancer throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and her son Bill.
She is survived by her husband Jack, her brother Donald (Joann) Taylor, her sons Jim (Claudia) and Paul (Amy), a daughter-in-law (Linda), eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She and her example of unconditional love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Marjorie will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Providence 10th Ward Meeting House, 262 Canyon Road, Providence, Utah.
A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the church.
The interment will be at the Providence City Cemetery.
