September 2, 1936 — January 11, 2024 (age 88)
Marilyn June Wilcock (Hamblin), 87, peacefully passed away in her home and returned to the arms of her loving Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 11th, 2024.
Marilyn was born in her grandmother’s home on September 2, 1936, to George and June Hamblin in Kaysville, Utah. She met and married the love of her life, Leonard Wilcock on April 18th, 1953. Marilyn and Leonard quickly welcomed five children into their lives, and she spent the rest of her life dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marilyn was a devoted farmers wife and worked very hard alongside her husband. She loved to travel and explored many places throughout the world. She was a talented artist, she loved to make ceramics, porcelain dolls and many beautiful coloring pages. She was a published poet, an avid bird watcher and had a green thumb. Marilyn was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout her time on earth.
Marilyn was the most wonderful mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, great grandma, and friend and she will be dearly missed.
Marilyn is survived by her children Cathy (Hal) Conover, LeeAnn (Leon) Lawson, Connie (Kim) Dunn, Bill (Sandy) Wilcock and daughter-in-law Vauna, her sister Donna Blood and her brother Eddie Hamblin, 18 grandchildren, and 43 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and June Hamblin, her husband Leonard and her son Tom.
A viewing will be held at the Snowville LDS Church (75 N 100 E, Snowville, Utah 84336) from 10-11:30 A.M. on Friday, January 19, 2024 with a brief memorial service to follow at Noon.
Interment will be held at the Snowville, Utah Cemetery.
