LOGAN – The Lyric Repertory Company has issued an audition notice for its 2025 summer season.

Those try-outs will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 in the Dance Studio of the Chase Fine Arts Center on the campus of Utah State University.

Performers who are members of the Actors Equity Association are invited to audition from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Amateur performers can audition from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

To request an audition, would-be performers are advised to contact Kelsey Koga, the repertory company’s stage manager, via e-mail at kkoga95@gmail.com.

Previous members of the Lyric Repertory Company are not required to audition. If you would like to be considered for available roles in the 2025 season, performers are requested to e-mail Richie Call at richie.call@usu.edu.

Current students at Utah State will still be required to audition, however.

The season play selections for 2025 will include the musical Bright Star, by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell; Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, by Steven Dietz; Home, I’m Darling, by Laura Wade; and The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde.

Performers auditing for the Lyric Repertory Company are asked to prepare one song – that is, 16-bars of music in the bluegrass style of Bright Star – and one 60-to-75 second monologue in the style of playwright Oscar Wilde.

The Actors Equity Association a labor union that represents professional actors and stage managers in American theater. Founded in 1913, Equity negotiates wages, improves working conditions and provides benefits for its members.
