Lyle George Ebbers, 86 of North Logan, a long time resident of Boise and Twin Falls peacefully passed away at home on January 2, 2024. He was born January 10, 1937 to Fred and Elizabeth Ebbers in Sterling Colorado.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane Eggleston Ebbers, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage since their union on June 27, 1959, in Buhl, Idaho. Together, they raised three children, Lisa (John) Christensen, Pamela (Brad) Beckstead, and Todd (Jamie) Ebbers, and cherished 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Lyle discovered true happiness in the company of his family. He had a sweet tooth that matched his sweet disposition, and his passions included classic cars, gardening, landscaping, and fishing. Lyle’s legacy is one of love and an authentic appreciation for life’s simple joys. He will be dearly missed.
A rosary will be held in Lyle’s honor on at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, followed by a service at 11:00 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 161 6th Ave. E, Twin Falls, ID.
Lyle will be laid to rest in a private ceremony, surrounded by the love and memories he created throughout his remarkable life. May he rest in peace.
