LOGAN – City residents are being invited to help shape the future of Logan by attending an upcoming Visioning Workshop here.

That event will be held at Logan City Hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.

Logan is creating a new General Plan – dubbed Logan 2045 – that will provide recommendations and policies for future growth and development of the community, according to Mike DeSimone, the city’s director of Community Development.

“You can help shape Logan’s future,” he explains, addressing all city residents. “At the Visioning Workshop, you can join your neighbors in creating a vision for what Logan should be in the decades to come.”

City residents who cannot attend the upcoming Visioning Workshop can still impact the community’s future by going online to the Logan 2045 General Plan Website at https://logan-ut-general-plan-hlplanning.hub.arcgis.com/

That website includes a community survey that residents can take, DeSimone says, as well as a map that residents can use to indicate what they would like to see changed, preserved and improved.

For additional information about the Visioning Workshop, residents can contact DeSimone via e-Mail at mike.desimone@loganutah.gov or by calling 435-716-9022.

Logan City Hall is located at 290 North, 100 West in downtown Logan.
