LOGAN – Officials of the Logan Parks & Recreation Department are reminding residents that the office at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza in downtown is also an extension office for their department.
Office hours at the plaza are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
While it’s still too early in the season for the plaza’s splash pad to open, residents can reserve a park pavilion there; purchase passes for the Logan Aquatic Center and the Logan Community Recreation Center; and register for city-wide Parks & Recreation activities.
Opened to the public in the spring of 2024, the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza is programmed with activities throughout the year.
Its outdoor stage features a wide variety of entertainment, including monthly “Cinema Under the Stars” movie presentations on Friday evenings throughout the months of spring and fall.
