LOGAN – City officials here have announced a round of final neighborhood meetings for gathering input from local residents to the Logan 2045 General Plan.

The Logan 2045 General Plan is a long-range blueprint for the city’s development from 2025 to 2045, guiding decisions on land use, housing and transportation. It will serve as a foundation for future growth and includes an action plan to meet goals for community design, infrastructure, natural environment and preservation.

Back in November of 2025, the tentative general plan was introduced to city residents. Now, before the nearly completed plan goes to the Logan Municipal Council for a public hearing and adoption, city officials are hoping to obtain public comment on their efforts.

The final neighborhood meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Ellis Elementary School; at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Wilson Elementary School; and at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 at Hillcrest Elementary School.
