LOGAN – As 2023 winds down Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital CEO Brandon McBride and his staff can reflect on the last 12 months as a period of high accomplishment for the hospital.

Thursday U.S. News and World Report included Logan Regional in its annual ranking of the Best Hospitals for Maternity Care in America. The annual ranking is designed to help inform expecting families on where they can receive the best care in their area.

It is a repeat of a recognition the hospital received almost 12 months ago.

In late-January of this year the hospital received the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Director’s Award from the Utah Department of Health and Human Services.

In early June Becker’s Hospital Review, a go-to source for America’s healthcare decision-makers, named McBride to its list of “Community Hospital CEOs to Know” in 2023.

McBride was one of 107 community hospital CEOs on Becker’s list.

He said the honor was a direct reflection of the incredible physicians and nurses and the caregivers at Logan Regional that provide safe, high quality care day-in and day-out.

Prior to joining Intermountain, McBride was the Divisional Administrator for the Department of Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University and an MBA and MHA at the University of Minnesota.
