LOGAN – City officials in Logan will host a meet and greet to apprise local residents on the city’s General Plan and how the next steps in Logan’s planning process will impact the Parks & Recreation Department.






Logan City officials will host a meet and greet from 4 to 7 p.m. on March 24 at the Logan Library to apprise residents of plans to address Parks & Recreation issues in the future (image courtesy of Facebook).


That event will take place in the Community Room of the Logan Library from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24.

The session will be informal, according to city officials, with several stations where community representatives will be available to discuss issues related to indoor and outdoor recreation in the future and take residents’ comments.

Topics being discussed will include the Logan Parks & Recreation Department’s plan for the transition of the Community Recreation Center to control by the Logan City School District; the Recreation Center feasibility study being funded by Cache County’s Recreation, Arts, Parks and Zoos Tax; and, the city’s Outdoor Recreation Complex located on 200 South between 1350 West and 1900 West, among others.
