LOGAN – Local families are being invited to a “Splash n’ Movie Night,” sponsored by the City of Logan.
Families with kids are being advised to mark their calendars for Friday, Sept. 16, when Parks and Recreation officials here will show the classic animated feature “Finding Nemo” for free at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza in downtown Logan.
“Finding Nemo” is a 2003 film from Pixar Animation Studios, featuring the well-known voices of actors Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Willem Dafoe and Geoffrey Rush.
The film tells the story of an over-protective clownfish searching for Nemo, his missing son. Along the way, he enlists the dubious help of a regal blue tang fish called Dory.
The free screening of the popular film will take place at 8:30 p.m. City officials will also provide free popcorn.
Families are advised to provide their own seating by bringing folding chairs.
